Sybase Classic in Full Swing
Two days after announcing her intended retirement at the end of the
2008 LPGA season, and four days after winning the Michelob Ultra Open
in Virginia, Annika Sorenstam went into Round 1 of the Sybase Classic
Thursday swinging and closed the day tied for first place. Rain put
added pressure on the LPGA pros Friday as Round 2 commenced.
